Every family has some traditions that are either strange or cool in their own way. Examples of such traditions include: some families enjoy going on a hike every other month, some families celebrate Hanukkah much more enthusiastically than they do Christmas, and some families enjoy having a movie night every other weekend as a form of family bonding. However, none of these described traditions made you feel strange or made you wonder what in the world this tradition is. All of these traditional activities are rather widespread, and families should have a few of their own to keep the family spirit alive and vibrant. But there are some family traditions that will make your eyes pop out of their sockets in shock and make your mind wander, “WHAT?! Am I hearing this right!?”.
There is this family of six where the mother, as a form of tradition, asks for a gift on every single one of her children’s birthdays. All this made you want to hunt this mom down and ask her what is wrong with her right? But did you notice something in all this scenario? All the mom’s side of the family seemed to think her mom’s behavior is completely justifiable. This actually shows how important a good upbringing environment actually is. We should applaud this woman for standing up for herself and speaking up about what she thinks is wrong.
