Everyone who celebrates Christmas waits for it all year long. Because this is an event of celebration, gratitude, and happiness…and above all, this event is all about families getting together. One person, who cherished Christmas like this and knew the importance of it very well decided to do something for her family but it backfired terribly. Reddit user u/GoldRule5896 shared that as it was going to be her first Christmas after getting engaged, she planned to get some thoughtful gifts for her in-laws. She discussed with her fiance and gathered gifts for all in-laws, presents she believed would come in really handy for every one of them with high hopes that they would love them all.
However, when OP gave them the presents, the in-laws reacted in the exact opposite way by calling her creepy for giving too personal gifts. Yes, you read that right.

1. But isn’t personal good when it comes to gifts? Let’s find out.
2. First Christmas with in-laws. OP sounds excited.
3. OP decided to get her in-laws gifts for Christmas to show her love and care for them…and, of course, to impress them.
4. She got gifts for her parents to her niece.
5. Every single gift was very well thought of.
6. I am sure they are all bound to love the gifts.
7. Even Noah loved the gifts and thought his family members would love them.
8. But when OP gave her in-laws all the gifts on Christmas, none of the receivers gave any reaction.
I don’t think OP left the in-laws any reason to doubt the gifts or say they were terrible. Every single gift was well thought out, and time spent on. This silence from the in-laws is very odd. She basically gave them all what they wanted, who would say they didn’t like what they wanted for a very long time.
But I am kind of curious as to how the family will respond and I am sure you guys are too. Let’s see what happens next. Scroll down below to continue reading!

12. All the gifts were well thought out. The in-laws were just being ungrateful.

14. I know right, even if these weren’t thought out gifts, non of them felt like the ones that would make you think the giver is a creepy person.

15. You are an AH for giving us these gifts but we will still keep them.
