Periods aren’t that complicated.
I know I am a girl saying this but still, they are pretty easy to understand. However, it seems most men don’t understand this very simple biological function. And I am not even talking about the myriad other things that men don’t understand about women. Honestly, we aren’t such complicated creatures and while female anatomy may be very different than a man’s, in some ways it is essentially the same.
We aren’t mythical creatures that fart rainbows and such. And while you might be thinking, I am being overdramatic, you’ll learn that I am not once you take a look at some of the following posts. I have no idea how these people are even able to function when they don’t even know these things. And no, the following things aren’t just from men but from women as well. It’s another thing not understanding someone else’s anatomy but not even knowing your own body is on another level.
#1 Honestly, the science behind this definitely check out.
#2 There is probably a reason why you can’t find a source.
#3 Ah yes peeing, the bane of existence for every women out there.
#4 And nobody wants that right?
I remember when I was in high school this guy told me, “you’re not a virgin huh?” And I was like, “yeah I am a virgin, why are you saying that?” And he looked down at my thighs and just laughed and said, “Haha, just know I have a way of finding out which girls aren’t virgins” and I remember being confused and then I saw the thigh gap post a couple of years ago and I was just here like, wtf, people were assuming that I had sex and that that’s how my thigh gap happened and that my vagina was loose.
Literally, all the females in my family have always had thigh gaps and I remember girls walking down the hall staring at my thighs laughing since I guess that whole post was a thing back then. I literally had so many people assuming I wasn’t a virgin because of that and even then, having sex doesn’t make your vagina loose. -Jenny
#5 So estrogen is a hormone and testosterone is a mythical creature then?
#6 Even in this day and age of the Internet, some people are still dumb enough to believe this can happen.
#7 I think they just had their mind blown by this revelation.
#8 Does he know that periods aren’t the same as pee?
#9 Of course women are childish for not being able to control normal biological functions.
I have…literally never seen a vagina in person and still knew more about them than the people in this post. Holy shit. Why do straight men get away with not bothering to learn about vaginas and periods and related things???
It’s common decency to have a working knowledge of things so you can be informed and educated. -Kevin Isaiah
#10 Basically black beans solve everything. I feel another migraine coming on from reading this.
#11 Bladder and ovaries aren’t the same thing. I can’t believe I have to explain this.
#12 My brain might start to malfunction soon enough.
#13 I know we all say there is no such thing as a stupid question but I think we found it.
#14 How has he lived his life not knowing there is more than one passage?
WHY do so many guys seem to think that women pee out of their vaginas?! It’s not that hard of a concept! We have more than one hole, we’re not chickens or dinosaurs! -julial
#15 I am learning that there is no hope for humanity.
#16 I pray that this just sarcasm or a poor attempt at a joke.
#17 I think Renoneeds to shove his nugget up somewhere.
#18 Wow, I just……..wow.
#19 I believe we have found the person you never want to go in bed with.
#20 So there is some truth to this but definitely not in the way they explained it.
#21 You know there is a thing known as natural birth?
