Female Firefighter Was Called Out For Her Hairstyle, Cuts All Her Hair Off And Gets The Dress Code Rewritten

Some institutions are rigid about the dress code and want the employees to follow it strictly.

Making the dress code a compulsory thing is ridiculous and unfavorable to some employees. Some people are comfortable following the strict dress code but not every employee can follow the same dress code. Some employees have allergies to a certain fabric of the cloth, and some might not feel okay with the hairstyle etc. A firefight school implemented a strict dress code because they are a paramilitary entity. A Redditor who works in the fire academy has posted to r/MaliciousCompliance to share her experience. An instructor kept writing her again and again about her hairstyle and even told her that if she did not comply with the dress code, she will be fired next time. Scroll down to read what OP did next to comply with the dress code.

Why do not these institutions consider the fact that many women can have a headache by keeping their hair in a bun all the time? Well, kudos to OP and the other firefighter for complying with the dress code in a way that they had to rewrite the dress code and make it gender neutral. Every institution needs to rewrite their dress code and make it convenient for the employees. Scroll down to read what Redditors have to say about the strict dress code.
