However, one friend in today’s story completely disregarded this dynamic of friendship by demanding her friend make a wedding cake but at a huge discount. Reddit user CakesNGames90 she was extremely excited for her friend, Ashley’s wedding. The two would only talk about wedding-related things. But their relationship took a strain after Ashley shared that the person who was going to make her wedding cake left town and there was no wedding cake in place. She then asked OP to make the wedding cake for her as she had some experience decorating cakes in high-end bakeries. OP agreed but then came the curve ball. The cake would cost $825 to make, but Ashley wanted OP to do it for just $150.

I am sorry, Ashley, but the dynamic works in the exact opposite direction. Ideally, Ashley should’ve convinced OP to receive $1,000 to make the wedding cake because that is what true friends do, they support each other.
I swear OP should drop the wedding. This is disgraceful behavior from a friend who has known you for decades now. Absolutely pathetic by Ashley.
