Girlfriend Kicks Out Controlling Boyfriend Who Hid A Tracking Device On Her Car

Controlling Boyfriend

There are two-faced people everywhere.

Many people wear masks in their daily lives, concealing their true selves behind a facade of kindness and charm. They frequently portray themselves as victims in order to elicit sympathy from others. However, beneath the surface, some people exhibit their ab*sive tendencies, causing harm to those closest to them. I’m sure we’ve all heard stories about people acting as if they were the ones being hurt by their ab*sive partner, only to later realise it was a lie. They have been the perpetrators at times, but they are excellent at manipulating others and portraying themselves as victims.

They may hide their true selves behind ‘issues’ inherited from previous toxic relationships. For example, someone may claim that they have control issues because their ex cheated on them or something similar. You might even believe them, but that’s when their claws show, and you’re in too deep to realise what’s going on. And even when you catch them in the act or realise they are harming you, they simply excuse it or begin love-bombing you. While the following story may not be as extreme, there are a few red flags that point to this type of future.

OP didn’t kick out her boyfriend for no reason.

These two have only been dating for a little while, so OP wanted to move separately.

However, her boyfriend needed to stay with her for a while due to all the expenses.

It is clear that their relationship isn’t as great as it might seem, and her boyfriend has control issues.

She confided in him, but he instead thought victim blaming was a good idea.

She also caught him tracking her through an air tag.

She has understandably kicked out her boyfriend but is now worried about him.

At first, I sympathised with each of the characters in the story. However, that quickly turned to disgust when it came to the original poster’s (OP) boyfriend. I don’t care what you’ve been through in the past or what horrible trauma you’ve experienced; it doesn’t justify putting a tracker on your significant other. Movies may teach us that a little possessiveness is cute, but in real life, it is not only horrifying but also the first red flag that many people fail to notice.

OP should not feel anything at all because he deserves far worse than being kicked out. If possible, consider obtaining a restraining order against him.

People in the comments were quite worried about her.

The only answer is that she needs to get away from him.

Even this might be too much for this kind of person.

A restraining order might be a good idea.

Other people also shared similar experiences.

He is not the person anyone should be in a relationship with.

It would depend on the country she lives in and the laws surrounding this issue.

It might be the safest option.

The OP might not want to hear this, but it’s true.

Breaking up is the way to go.

People in these sorts of relationships often don’t realise themselves.

To be fair, we don’t know if he had actually been in an abusive relationship.

Manipulative people don’t usually change.
