Grandma Takes Revenge On Greedy Preachers Who Never Came To Visit Her After She Got Sick

For many people, religion represents a source of hope.

Whether you practise a particular religion or not, everyone can agree that religion instils hope in many people. This is especially true for those who are experiencing difficulties or are ill in some way. After all, we all want our lives to mean something and hope that our pain isn’t in vain. Not only that but adhering to a particular belief means you have the support of a large number of people who attend church with you or meet up in some other way in your religious organisation. That is why it is so disheartening to see people in positions of power, such as preachers, say one thing and then do something completely selfish.

This apparently occurs frequently, and we have all read hundreds of stories in which people in positions of power in churches do not follow what they preach. And this is exactly what is happening in this story. This woman, you see, spent the majority of her life volunteering at her local church and assisting as many people as she could. So it’s not surprising that she expected something similar when she became ill herself. However, no one from the church or her so-called friends ever paid her a visit or offered her any kind of help. It wouldn’t be so bad if that was all there was to it. But the greedy preachers couldn’t let her go without squeezing her for all she was worth, even when she was on the verge of death.

Right from the title, it is clear that this is going to be a story for the ages.

It all starts with a bit of background on what the Grandmother did for the church.

She clearly wanted to do everything she could to help people.

And she was doing exactly that through this church.

Even when the members of the church weren’t so nice towards her, she persevered.

However, when she got sick, there was no one from this organization to help her.

She tried multiple times to reach out to the members of the church.

But they only came back to the fold when they wanted something from her.

At this point, it was clear that they were after her only because of her will.

As you can probably guess, this broke her heart.

As these were the people who she had supported her whole life but now they were forsaking her.

So when she passed away, the preachers weren’t invited to her funeral.

It turned out to be a beautiful service.

And anyone who wanted to say something got to say it.

But things weren’t over.

And now it was time to settle her will.

She hadn’t forgotten about the preachers either so they were at the will reading as well.

Everyone knew that there were going to be a few surprises waiting in her will.

They were invited to the tradition and that was that.

And since the whole family was there, the space was a bit cramped.

So the preachers go to sit in front of everyone.

The hearing went on well and everyone was getting something whether it was sentimental or financially generous.

She had even donated a generous amount to a few local charities.

But now it was time for the preachers to hear what she had in store for them.

She had written them a special letter that was absolutely glorious.

And she mentioned everything they had done to her in that note.

She continued on to say how she had tried to reach out to them several times.

The big revelation was that she had already decided to give them a huge amount.

But now she also wanted to do something special for these two preachers.

And that is exactly what she did.

But things weren’t yet over.

As she wanted to pour salt over all that wound.

So she decided to instead donate to another local church.

A church that was primarily composed of black people.

As you can probably guess, these preachers did not see that coming.

This also spat in the face of their inherent racism.

It was the best thing she could do not only to help people but also to get her revenge.

And as it turns out, it was the exact amount she had wanted to give to her church in the first place.
