We all want to help family members but if they start taking advantage, we are out of it.
It is good to help your family members when they need you but you should not be the only one who is always helping the other person. They should also be willing to help you in need. Well, some people start taking advantage if you always offer them a helping hand. A Reddit user shared that he and his brother have kids the same age. His brother and brother’s wife always expect OP to watch their kids. They would come home late and expect OP to babysit their kids. He would pick them up from school and take them shopping etc. but if they have to watch OP’s son, they would always want OP to come early.
One day, OP took his nephew shoe shopping. After shopping, they stopped to eat and he left for their home. OP called mom and dad 40 times but no one answered. OP found the bar where the SIL was, the mother came out and OP found out that she was cheating on his brother. We are sure OP’s brother would have never done this for OP’s kids. OP’s brother and his wife both are irresponsible parents and they need to straighten them out.
