Nobody likes the taste of their own medicine.
When I say this, what I mean is that people usually get annoyed when they are treated the same way they treat others. I wonder how a Karen would react if we treated them similarly to how they treat service workers. Getting fingers snapped in your face isn’t fun for anyone and I hope they will learn their lesson but they sadly never do. I am sure you all know what a Karen is. While Karen is a perfectly normal name, it has become synonymous with the infamous short haircut and the entitled attitude that goes along with it.
And when I say entitled, I also mean calling employees lazy and thinking that everyone is beneath you. I am sure we have all had to deal with people like these and it is never fun. While I have never been in such a situation, I’ve had quite a few run-ins with Karens and I usually just walk out rather than engage with them. However, nobody has ever mistaken me for an employee before and acted rudely towards me on the account of me not having a uniform.

This person starts off with some information about his uniform and how he came to be at the store.
He was at Walmart for some Almond Milk that the store hadn’t delivered to their home.
And while he was busy using his phone, he could hear some murmurs in the line that was forming.
Rather than telling her the truth straight up, he decided to employ her tactic on her.
As you can imagine, she was left speechless and hurried out of there.
I never understand these sorts of people. I can understand being in a hurry but treating another human being like this is never okay. And I usually just ask someone if they work at the store rather than assuming. These days most stores have uniforms anyway so it really isn’t that hard to guess. Even when I have made mistakes like this, I simply apologize and move on rather than calling employees lazy.
I have seen that from time to time but it is none of my business as long as they act decently towards me.
I am definitely going to do this if this ever happens to me!
I hope she learned her lesson and will not do this from now on.
