Guy Uninvites His Girlfriend On A Vacation To Make His Female Friend Feel More Comfortable

Relationships take effort to maintain.

A relationship is not a fairytale, and you do not get a happy ending after getting into a relationship, as depicted in movies. In reality, the real story begins when you begin dating someone and have to go through a lot with them. However, some people are unaware of this. And believe that if their partner’s emotional needs are not met, something is wrong with their partner’s perspective. That is exactly what is happening in this situation. While I understand your desire to travel with only your friends, this is not how you handle it.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being friends with someone of the opposite gender, but you have to work hard to make sure your partner feels secure in the relationship. But this guy either didn’t care or thought she was the one having trust issues. While trust is an essential component of any relationship, it is not given freely and must be earned, which this guy did not. So I’m not surprised things turned out this way.

This is going to be a long windy story so get ready.

They were all going on a trip when things took a turn and only three were left.

But things seemed to be good until something unexpected happened.

Her boyfriend uninvited her and didn’t even tell her until later.

This was obviously upsetting to her.

However, he could not understand where she was coming from at all.

And he kept at it like she was the one blowing it out of proportion.

Even his parents chimed in with how disappointed they were in him.

He didn’t really do anything to make her feel better either.

It was clear that he was prioritising his friend over his relationship.

So she decided to do something about it and left.

He tried to talk to her but she wasn’t having any of it.

When he wouldn’t let go, she sent him a clear email explaining everything.

It was beautifully worded and she stood her ground.

She laid all her feelings out and bared them for him.

If he had actually cared, he wouldn’t have done something like this.

But it was clear that they just weren’t a good match.

It was a long message and she had written everything in excruciating detail.

She had wanted to work things out before but it was all over now.

If he had tried to amend things, it might have worked out.

But he had done irreparable damage to the relationship by now.

 

While their relationship wasn’t all bad and she said so herself.

It was something she needed to get out of.

Thankfully, he understood and they went their separate ways.

I’m actually surprised at how callous the boyfriend was throughout the entire ordeal. He did not attempt to make things right. And he should have realized that his ostensible “best friend” wasn’t helping matters and was only adding to the drama. If she truly cared about him, she would have either discussed it with his girlfriend or rescheduled the trip entirely. So I’m glad the girlfriend ended her relationship with him because he didn’t deserve her. He chose his friend over her at the expense of their relationship in the end, and he got what he wanted.

The friend does seem like someone who loves to cause drama.

He should have known this would happen after how he treated her.
