Twists are all the rage nowadays.
From movies to comics, there isn’t any creative medium that hasn’t been used to deliver a story with a surprising twist. While not every twist is amazing or makes sense (I am looking at you M. Night Shyamalan.) However, a few failed attempts don’t make every kind of twist inherently bad. Especially if it is sued in a way that is funny and short-lived. That is where Joey Alsion Sayers comes in.
She is the mind behind the comics that you will be seeing soon. And she has a love for dark humor and twisty stories that might not make a whole lot of sense but sometimes you have to extend your imagination a little bit to really have fun. Joey Alsion Sayers has been posting short comics semi-regularly for quite a while and she has amassed over 15k followers which is no small feat. Not only that but she also draws comics for GoComics’ Alley Oop strip and I am sure you have heard of them. her drawing style is quite simplistic and cartoony but that is what makes it unique. Especially since the subject matter is not always kid-friendly and the art style is what makes it even funnier.
