Mannequins are like scare-crows. Emotionless and just standing there. However, they fulfil different purposes. Scarecrows are used to scare animals and people off while mannequins are supposed to attract people. How can an emotionless figure attract us? Well, it is mostly because of whatever they are wearing. However, some stores like to go up and beyond the bare minimum to entertain their customers just to gain more revenue. Mostly mannequins look the same. Just face-less slim figures that show a very unrealistic body image. Maybe that is why some clothes do not look so good on us as they looked on the mannequins.
So how can these emotionless things make us laugh, you must be wondering? Well, it’s all about figure, position, and clothes. Make the right combination and you will see a lot of people gathering around the mannequin and taking pictures of it. This will help the store attract customers as well. Wow, you really need to give credit to some of the owners for these mannequins because they are hilarious as heck. I know I would be one of the people to stop in their way just to take a picture of the mannequin. And I can definitely relate to the beer belly mannequin. Now that is a realistic figure!
