You should never restrict the diet of your pets unless it is advised by the vet.
Dog owners love their dogs. They love feeding them and pampering them which leads to the dogs becoming obese. Dog owners are often told by vets to take their dogs out for walks and restrict the diet of their dogs. Well, you can only do this if your vet advises you to. A wife shared that she was planning to go on a trip with her husband. OP and her daughter were supposed to take the flight but her husband wanted to drive and then stop and do a mountain bike ride. They own a golden doodle that weighs 23 lbs. OP’s husband wanted her to restrict the diet of the doggo and make her lose 3 lbs so she can fly on a plane with them. OP already feeds her lesser than the suggested quantity on the bag of dog food. OP told her husband that she does not think the dog can lose a few pounds in six months.
