1. I would like to know what food falls under the category of “inappropriate” because I have never heard this before.
2. One day after picking her son up from school, OP received a call from his teacher telling her to stop packing her son disgusting lunches.
3. OP felt a shock as she had maintained a very good relationship with her son’s teacher in the past. The teacher rudely informed the mother that the lunches had a very unpleasant odor that would distract other students.
4. OP responded by saying the lunches she packed for her son were based on his liking and preference.

I swear there is no point in giving your kid lunches you know he/she won’t eat. You give your child the lunch you know he/she will eat during the lunch break as it is a very important meal for them to stay nourished. If I love kimchi which has an unpleasant odor and my mom packs me a pizza that smells delicious but I dislike it, there is no point in packing it for me because the lunchbox will come back home untouched.
6. OP told the teacher she won’t be changing her son’s lunches and that it isn’t her problem that other students get distracted by what her son has to eat during his lunch break.
This kind of behavior coming from a teacher who we consider our children’s second mother at school is so unfortunate and unacceptable. This cannot go unnoticed. OP must report this teacher to the higher-ups for being blatantly r*cist towards the Korean child. Perhaps the report of this matter may result in many toxic teachers being revealed, which I am sure there are.
