Everyone has different priorities.
Some people prioritize their pets over humans and that is okay. However, the other person has to make a decision as to whether they are okay with this. That is the heart of the problem in this particular story. Now I won’t say anything about who it is that people need to choose because that is not my right to say. However, people would usually say that your partner is more important than anything else.
But that is only if you truly care for your partner and if you don’t then, you need to inspect your relationship with a close eye. That is not to say that I don’t understand where she is coming from. After all, her dog is getting euthanized and that must be a horrible feeling to deal with. I can not even imagine the pain she is going through. But so is her partner, he is going to be in surgery soon and he is obviously scared.

This is going to be a sad story so get ready for that.
It is clear that he is sad for the dog and wants to help his girlfriend.
However, he is going through a hard time as well and wants some kind of support.
At first, he was fine with it but then he got nervous and wanted her to be with him.
She however flipped out on him and called him heartless.
This is honestly a complicated situation and I have no idea what is the right decisions here. People can say their opinion but we don’t know what their relationship is like. While it is clear that he has gone above and beyond for the family and the doggo, the same cannot be said for her. However, she is going through a hard time as well so there is that. Would it have been better if she reassured him and rescheduled the doggo appointment? Absolutely but I can’t say for sure.

Even if it may not be life-threatening, it does make you nervous.
So I wanted someone to be there with me as well.
Thankfully, my family and friends were there for me.
But some people felt for her plight as well.
It is her decision after all.
And it is clear that this is hitting her hard.
She should be with him at this time.
She could say goodbye to the doggo beforehand.
She doesn’t know what to do but it is better to communicate that.
They need to talk this out rather than her guilt-tripping him.
She did not react well to his question.
It is all-around horrible.
I can only hope that they work it out and everything turns out fine.
The story might be hard but cat tax will make you feel better.
