Man Sues Girlfriend After She Gets His 1967 Impala Restoration Project Dumped At A Scrapyard

One factor out of many that support a successful relationship is respecting each other’s hobbies and interests. It is extremely important. You don’t have to develop a liking for your significant other’s interests but you may also not show dislike towards it. Just let them be. You may have a hobby to collect mugs. Your partner should never say “This is a dumb habit that you have got” because you have no idea how much it may hurt them…at times relationships end because of this.

In today’s story, we have Reddit user u/Jimothyisyouruncle who owns a 1967 4-door Impala and decides to restore it completely. So he opens the whole car up, gets the required parts, sets up all the tools, and lays everything down in his 2.5-car garage. This is not liked by his girlfriend for two reasons. One, she has no interest in the restoration project and two, there is no space for her to park her car in the garage. But is that enough reason for doing what she did? This woman, while his boyfriend was out of town, called over some guys and got the entire project, including the car, moved to a scrapyard. Upon knowing what had happened, OP took some serious and fiery decisions.

5. One time OP had to go out of town and when he returned, he got met with an extremely happy and joyous girlfriend…suspicious.

From the very beginning, you can tell just by reading how excited OP must’ve been starting his Impala project. It takes dedication to restore an entire car and that too over 5 decades old. Seeing it all gone one day must’ve been extremely heartbreaking for him. Imagine someone giving your child away without letting you know about it…how would that feel? I believe that is the closest we can to understand how OP must’ve felt. That b*tch should be jailed.

13. OP is ready to file a report at the police station. He is not letting it go.
