The workplace environment can be a rather tough place to work in, with all the added pressure, the rigorous hustle and bustle throughout the day and to top off the misery, Negligent Managers. There is a proper checklist of Malicious Compliance where you encounter someone; not deviating from the orders in any way, intending any sort of harm to be inflicted, ignoring orders which are rather complicated, the person giving the order making a mistake, etc. Including but not limited to the Manager’s refusal towards the well-deserved Employee Vacation Days.
The benefit of the doubt goes to the employee who tried his best to either get the vacation he deserved or the paycheck for the unused vacation days, this mistake of the manager contributed to a rather perfect ending. Reading up on contracts should really be crucial for all the employees as well as the managers since a single skim can result in loss or in this case, employees handing in notices. Present-mindedness is crucial for being able to actually give in your all at your workplace.
Alongside that, comes to the hierarchical issues, if the work environment has a rather more authoritarian vibe, it can be difficult to fully feel comfortable which in return affects productivity. If the manager fails to be reasonable with the employees around him, it becomes a question in mind as to whether or not it’s fit to still work for such insensitive employers? You decide!
It’s the beginning of the story and it already relays how toxic the work environment must be. However, he got lucky to be offered a permanent contract.

So far, the terms included are worth the permanent contract. March sounds like the perfect vacation season to de-stress and just chill, but sadly this took a turn.

There comes the Manager y’all. No Vacay nor paycheck, that’s straight-up wrong. He definitely seemed to have done his homework before applying for a vacation Manager. However, here is the twist… Oooo this is getting exciting!

“Leaving employee” quite grabbed his attention and he seemed to not back out till his Holiday issue was cleared. It’s now or never, right? His Boss should know the worth of employees, just because he is working under him doesn’t mean he isn’t an important asset to the company.

Clearly, “HE WASN’T BLUFFING BOSS!” Mic drops and Boom! that is one hell of a way to quit the job. That’s a Win-Win scenario.

This all just comes to show that every individual working in a company is a crucial asset to the success and boom. When employees are not treated the way they deserve to be treated, no one would want to work under such circumstances where their comfort or at least contractual rights are not looked up to and neglected. If the manager would’ve been lenient enough and had looked into the time and effort he must’ve been putting in his work, a three-week holiday was his well-deserved right to let go of the work stress and look at life beyond all the exhaustion and frustration. This is one of the million other stories that do take place in every other company which put a rather negative impact on the employees’ well-being, which should not be taken for granted.
