No matter what job you do it is essential to define a purpose behind doing it and being passionate about the work in order to gain anything out of it. With passion and purpose even if it is a low-paying job you will still find utility in it because it is something you like doing and that is all that matters. At times people dismiss companies that would’ve provided you with quick success, financial strength, and the right experience to move forward.

So many people get laughed at for working at McDonald’s. What we don’t realize is McDonald’s is a $200 Billion company in which any ambitious employee can make a career by working really hard and being a good manager for the company, just like it happens in any other organization in any part of the world. At the end of the day, you succeed while enjoying your work too.

Tiktoker @luck33one is a general manager at a McDonald’s. She recently posted a video on TikTok that went viral and gained over 178,000 likes which was a response to a commentator who shamed her for working at McDonald’s. She did so by sharing all the perks and benefits of being a general manager at McDonald’s and made sure to the point across that what she has at McDonald’s is a career, not just a job.

She said she didn’t get the job on a plate, she worked extremely hard to believe in this job as a career.

The sole purpose of luck33one was not just to give a reality check to the job shamer but it was also to let all the other people ambitiously working at companies that are generally looked down upon that it doesn’t matter what other people say. If you are ambitious about what you are doing and you are actually progressing and also making good money, you should not care one bit about what other people have to say. This GM at McDonald’s is making 6-figures and is happy with that. I lowkey feel like many of us had no idea about this because always associate working at McDonald’s with cashier or sweeper jobs. Very unfair!
