In this post on Reddit, a couple celebrates their newborn baby’s arrival with a “baby ceremony,” inviting friends and family to meet their daughter Charlotte. Among the guests are their cousin Alice and her parents. Alice is known for her upscale preferences in clothing, often choosing designer wear with a penchant for luxury. She’s employed as a banker and lives with her parents, affording her lavish lifestyle.
During the event, Alice’s turn to hold the baby takes a surprising turn when baby Charlotte unexpectedly vomits on Alice’s expensive designer blouse. Moreover, Alice’s parents request reimbursement for the ruined blouse, valued at around £1800. OP, however, declines to reimburse, citing the known unpredictability of babies and the conscious choice Alice made to wear expensive clothing near a baby and babies can be like this.
