Entitled Mother Takes Her Kid To An “Adults Only” Pool

Sometimes you just want to escape everything and go on a vacation where there is nothing but serenity, peace, and quiet. Which, among other things, includes, for some people, being away from children. Usually loud screams and noises are associated with kids and for them, quiet means to be away from children.

Reddit user u/Grimace4Eyes went on one such vacation with her husband. The couple stayed in a 5-star hotel that had 2 pools, one for children and families, and another one for adults only. One day OP and her husband went to the adult pool but as they sat down on their chairs, OP noticed a kid in the hot tub. His mother was sitting next to him. This triggered OP because her sole purpose of coming on the vacation was getting ruined. So she got up and informed the attendants about the child. The lady along with her son were escorted out. The mother tried her best to stay there but eventually had to give up.

1. Yet another entitled mom who thinks the rules of the world do not apply to her.

2. OP is on a fancy vacation with her husband and shares the hotel they are staying at has two pools; one for the kids/families and the other specifically for adults.

3. They had been having a great time at the pool and didn’t face many issues with other people except one.

4. One day when OP and her husband went to the adult pool, she noticed a kid in the hot tub playing with his toys.

5. The sight of the kid triggered OP. She was on the vacation for serenity, not to hear screaming kids.

6. OP went to the attendant to ask if the hot tub was also for families.

7. The attendant told OP it was only for the adults. She then proceeded to tell the attendant there was a child in the hot tub.

8. The attendant quickly ran towards the hot tub and told the woman sitting next to the child, who was his mother it turns out, to leave.

The sole reason why OP went on that vacation, specifically stayed in that 5-star hotel, was to relax. The reason was to feel the peace and just have a good time with her husband. In her definition of peace, kids do not exist and that is what triggered OP.

Secondly, when there does exist a family pool, there is no point in that woman bringing her kid to the adult pool. She knew the rule very well, I would refuse to believe it if she said she had no clue. People are too entitled, man. They really think they can do whatever they want and get away with it.
