Having good neighbours is undoubtedly a blessing from God.
You need to be very careful about the place you choose to live in. Unless you like living like a hermit in the middle of nowhere, you are bound to have neighbours. While picking the perfect place to move to, you should observe the neighbourhood environment. Trust me, even if you have the biggest, most comfortable house in the world, it would mean nothing if you have bad neighbours. If you are lucky, you will find good neighbours around you that will befriend you. They will welcome you when you move into your new place, crack jokes with you at BBQs and help you in difficult times. These types of generous neighbours make your life so much better. You can always count on them to look after your house or your dog if you will be away from home for a while. They are also great to spend time with whenever you need to hang out or if you are just bored. You need neighbours that won’t mind you throwing a party and listening to loud music every once in a blue moon. Of course, if you do it too often then you become a bad neighbour. To establish a good and healthy relationship with your neighbour, you must make sure that it is not one-sided. If you do good to people, they will do good to you. What comes around goes around.
Of course, that does not apply to neighbours from hell. No matter how good you are to them, they just are not good people. I am so glad I live in a neighbourhood where everybody minds their own business. We are not too friendly, but we do not hate each other either. We believe in live and let live.
