Weddings are supposed to be one of the most important, significant day in your life. It’s the day you decide to tell the world that you’re choosing to spend the rest of your life with a special someone, that you want to live, breathe, and flourish with their company. That’s what a wedding is, a new chapter in your life, and the goal is to have only one wedding in your entire life. That’s what makes it so special.
But, since it’s so widely known and understood to be important, there are people out there who, for whatever reason, go out of their way to ruin it for everyone else. Whether it means by outdressing them, announcing something incorrectly, or whatever else they can manage. And these stories are often told around hushed tones at family gatherings because it’s usually a family member or a close friend that pulls a stunt like that in the first place.
Well, no more, because now you can hear those kinds of messed up stories online. There’s an app called Whisper which lets you, as the name implies, whisper secrets into the internet that no one will know who was about or who it came from. And the drama on that app is just… Immense.

#2 Best friend’s proposal.
#3 One big wedding fail.
#4 No longer a special day.
#5 Sister’s pregnancy.
There’s a tendency of people to pull something like this, and it’s usually for the sake of attention. Why do they crave attention so badly to the point of sabotaging someone else’s special day? Maybe they’re just that selfish. Or maybe they have no other way of redeeming themselves or giving themselves value. A lot of people have incredibly messed up ways of making themselves feel good, a lot of them are self-destructive in the long run. This is just awful.

#7 Mother in law’s friends.
#8 Two minute drunken soliloquy.
#9 Wedding reception fist fight.
#10 Cousin who wanted attention.
There’s always that one relative who just can’t get enough of the attention and the glam that’s at weddings. There’s so much money, time, and care invested into a single event, it’s awful for someone else who took no part in that to make it about them. Why would they? It’s awful behaviour, and every time I see stories like that, I wonder what kind of person they are. Whatever it is, they’re not people I want to hang around with, and certainly not people that will ever be invited to my wedding.
