We don’t understand animals.

We would all like to think that we can understand our pet but that doesn’t always hold true. For example, your dog might bring you a potato. I don’t know you but that is quite random. I suppose sometimes our pets want to show their appreciation to us in any way they can and it is certainly better to get a potato than a ripped up mice when you wake up. And it is certainly quite nice to see animals showing love in whatever way they can.

This holds especially true for indoor pets since they can’t go outside to hunt for prey so they choose to ‘hunt’ in the pantry and bring you gifts.
