Movies are not always realistic.
Well, of course, because they are movies and not real life. Movies need action, suspense, and a lot of drama. That is how you keep the audience entertained throughout the few hours of the movie. You need a story that is interesting enough to keep the audience’s mind busy. Children’s movies are especially not realistic. That is obvious because you can not show a lot of things to children, which includes the bitter reality of real life. Childrens movies display more bright and positive colours of life so children will grow up to create a world similar to which they saw in their childhood. Disney movies were a part of everybody’s childhood. There were loads of stories and some even had a few sad origins as well but the ending would always be happy. The movies would teach us all lessons and we would watch the movie with great interest as the main characters progressed through their lives and had a happy ending. However, these movies would be very different if they were a little realistic. What am I talking about? Well, I always wondered how nobody else had the same shoe size as Cinderella. What if somebody else just fit in the shoe? The prince would have married anyone with the same shoe size? Totally unrealistic. We do not mean to spoil the fun for everyone, but that is just how these movies would end up if they were a little realistic.
Artist Santiago Esparza, also known as Sanesparza creates hilarious comics in which they illustrate what Disney movies would have looked like if they were a little realistic. The comics take a turn here and there and you get the ending that you would probably expect if these scenarios happened in real life. Scroll down below to read the comics.
1. Lady and the Tramp.
I mean, have you ever put a plate of food in front of a dog? I am sure they do not eat in a civilised and cute manner.
Tarzan probably has not brushed his teeth in a lot of years.
3. Snow white.
Yeah, how does one person get to decide who is the fairest of them all? We all have different preferences.
3. Beauty and the Beast.
He might transform but that does not necessarily mean his hear would start beating again.
4. Sleeping beauty.
Sure, buddy. Keep these cheesy pickup lines to yourself.
5. 101 Dalmatians.
You have got to be kidding me.
Not so heroic now, are we?
Whether or not it is my creation, I would crap myself at the sight of that.
8. Alice in Wonderland.
You really can not make all that up unless you’re on something really good.
Or, you could just wish for a hundred more wishes. That could work too.
For real, mean? You meet someone for a few hours and then you decide you are ready to marry them? Sure.
Is it worse than dying, young hero?
12. Alice in Wonderland.
Nothing to see here. Please do not eat those mushrooms.
13. 101 Dalmatians.
So you see, it would not be really funny if these movies were more realistic. They would probably end in less than ten minutes. However, the realistic side of these comics really do make you laugh. This did not come to our minds when we were children but now that you think about it, it seems really silly. Scroll down below for the rest of the comics.
14. Princess and the Frog.
A frog? And that too a talking one? No thanks.
15. Lilo and Stitch.
Stitch is going to end up in Area 51.
16. Lady and the Tramp.
This is how dogs flirt.
17. Robin hood.
Stealing is not social welfare, bro.
18. Sleeping beauty.
Now that wasn’t so hard, was it?
The only way to make a doll come to life.
Anyone with a shoe size 6 could have fit that.
22. Emperor’s New Groove.
It’s called getting things done.
23. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
It really isn’t easy catching a falling guy.
24. Wreck-it Ralph
25. The Nightmare Before Christmas
