OP’s wife developed postpartum depression after their baby’s birth and she is taking therapy, OP is working double as the wife’s staying home.

OP got a project for which he had to work overtime, her wife agreed to it and OP’s MIL and her friend came to help.

Jessie was a SAHM who was coming over. OP told her wife he need more time for the project, and she understood but got cold afterward, and OP ignored it.

OP came back late one night while Jessie was still there, OP overheard something.

When OP inquired Jessie accused OP that he is having an affair as his wife has PPD and gained weight while the wife started crying.

OP sat down with his wife and told her that he had to overwork while the wife asked for more evidence.

OP showed her more emails with timestamps, she believed it and apologized for doubting, OP asked why she believed Jessie more than him.

OP has bene trying to work less but the thought that his wife does not believe him is disturbign him a lot.

OP comes back home to see her daughter crying alone and the room and office turned into a mess while the wife is nowhere to be seen.

The wife comes back and starts screaming at OP, accusing him of an affair, when OP stops her, she breaks her nose.

OP went with his mom, left the daughter at his Dad, and got his nose fixed while the wife sat in a comatose. He called his mom to take care of her.

OP and his daughter are staying at his parents while the wife is with her mmother.

OP is separaitng form his wife until she is in a better state.

OP is doing this for his safety and his daughter’s and hoping to take the right decison.
