Customer Almost Got Arrested For Shopping At A Grocery Store He Used To Work For

almost arrested shopping

Entitlement is scary, it makes you do some very crazy stuff. From constantly believing that you are always right to forever trying to cement your superiority over everyone else, entitlement is basically a big cloud of ego that takes a human under its control and turns them evil. The consequences of entitlement however never go in the favor of the entitled person. Yes, it is not easy to deal with them and they can seriously cause you damage, both mental and physical, but the endgame is never theirs no matter how hard they try.

In today’s story, Reddit user u/Aggravating-Good-332 was shopping at a grocery store he used to work at previously. Their policy is to fire workers when they turn 18 to keep their costs low as the pays have to be drastically increased as the worker turns 18. So OP got fired as he neared the age of 18. A few weeks later the same store had put some specialty products on sale so he decided to go there and get himself some delicious American candies. That is when an entitled old customer walked in and accused OP of stealing the specialty products and packing them away so the customers couldn’t buy them. OP cleared to the entitled guy that he did not work at the store anymore but he did not believe it.

The matter got to the two parties screaming at each other and the police arriving at the scene. The entitled man had the audacity to punch OP right in front of the officers. He got arrested there and then.

See, again a person instantly denies what the other has said. Why do they all do this? OP clearly told MK that yes, he did use to work at the store but not anymore, he was a shopper just like himself. But he was in no mood to believe and would now probably create a major scene.

As OP has already told us MK is a terrible customer and no one likes it when he is at the store, I don’t think this situation would be any different. MK will try to get on the nerves of OP. Let’s see how it goes.
