Woman Asks Internet If She’s Wrong For Refusing To Cook Vegan For Her Daughter

Dealing with teenagers is a proper task in itself. They’re unpredictable. They’re always going through some phase and half of the time they don’t even know what they really want. And that’s what gets them into trouble. But, it’s a part of growth. However, the problem with them is, they think what they’re doing is right and that’s what makes them difficult to deal with. They refuse to listen to others. It’s very hard to convince them. If they set their mind to something, they’ll do whatever it takes to get it. I mean, their determination is admirable but they don’t always think everything through.

Sure, kids always ask their parents when they need something. But only till a certain age. After that, children must understand how hard their parents work to provide them with everything they need. So, to demand something from parents that they can’t really provide is unfair. Instead, if possible, they should help them out as much as they can. Now, as for this Reddit post, the mother didn’t do anything wrong. Instead, she even offered an alternative. So, if anything, she’s a really good mom who’s trying her very best. But at the same time we should know that her daughter is only 15 too. She relies on her parents and it’s understandable. So, basically no one’s wrong here.

Here’s how Redditors responded:

She’s NTA.

Considering the situation, her daughter isn’t wrong either. It’s just a fair request. No big deal.

It clearly is an overall bad situation. The only way out is a compromise from both sides.
