Woman Gets Revenge On A Wine Retailer When They Tell Her She Looks Too Young

Not every customer is incorrect.

We’ve all heard hundreds of stories about customers who are entitled brats in the service industry and need to be put in their place. And, while I always say that the customer is not always right, they are sometimes the ones who get the short end of the stick. That is exactly what is happening in this situation. This person, you see, just wanted to buy some wine for the holidays and relax. However, the wine retailer had other plans and wanted to derail their plans, despite the fact that they had travelled quite a distance to get there.

While I understand that alcohol distributors must be extra cautious when selling their merchandise and checking ID to ensure nothing illegal is afoot, there is such a thing as being overly cautious for no reason. To say that a customer looks way too young even after they have shown you their ID is extremely disrespectful, and to respond with a stupid store policy is the icing on the cake. Even after that, this store had the audacity to call the customer and berate her for leaving a negative review. As you might expect, the customer was displeased with this treatment and decided to exact her vengeance.

She drove a long way to get a specific wine that she wanted.

And everything was going well until the employees stopped her from buying what she wanted.

The reasoning was dumb and they would not accept her ID either.

She was obviously angry but she drove back home anyway seeing as there was no other choice.

She did buy her preferred wine from another store and decided to give a review to Total Wine.

The review was less than nice and this prompted the store manager to call her.

You would think that they would apologize to her but instead decided to insult her even more.

So she did what any sane person would do after getting drunk.

She bought a bunch of alcohol each a different type just to make life harder for the store employees.

She specifically bought only one of each so that it would be a hassle for all of them.

She also bought the most popular alcohol brand so that they would need to rebut other customers.

It worked amazingly well and she knew that they would be scrambling to get her order.

They did end up accepting the order and she was quite pleased.

We even have the receipt for her order.

And she wasn’t lying when she said the order was worth $10,000.

As you can probably expect, she got the reminder email after a few days but she didn’t respond.

And after ten days, she got a call from the same manager which was just delicious.

The manager probably knew what was happening by now.

But they could do nothing but refund the full amount and that was how it all ended.
