Life is not that simple.
It is very complex. You won’t be getting clean and smooth roads to have a nice, relaxing journey, I can assure you guys that much. All sorts of emotions flow. All sorts of things happen. All sorts of moments are experienced. Some are happy, and some are sad. You can’t get a full experience of life if you haven’t experienced both sides. After all, we’re all here for the experience, right? And then there are some moments that literally confuse our minds. The brains go numb to a point that we cannot fathom as to whether we should cry or laugh, Happy moments are slowly being outnumbered by sad moments. No, I am not being a judge of it, I’m just stating what I’m seeing. Corrupt institutions, inflation, dropping purchasing power, COVID-19, global warming. I don’t want to kill the mood here but I could carry on for hours.
All of these interesting moments eventually find their way on this Reddit page that was founded in November 2013. As of today the page r/FunnyandSad has over 700,000 members. This subreddit is where people celebrate their lives by sharing stories that are both funny and sad at the same time.

Honestly speaking, where our world is headed, it’s not easy to get through the day. It’s hard to get that smile to grow wide because of the tough inflationary world conditions. And the cherry on top (not), the pandemic, has literally killed so many plans in the making. You can’t even go out to chill for a bit and drain all that stress in the gutter. The condition is to do it al while sitting in your bed room. And I believe going through these interesting posts that state clear reality in a very funny way, can help us.
