Sister Had To Share A Bed With Their Grandmother To Look After Her Sister’s Dog

If someone asks you for a big favor, it is their job to make sure you are provided with a comfortable setup/environment because it is their job that you are doing. However, in today’s story, the person who was asked for a favor felt the most uncomfortable while honoring the responsibility they were bestowed upon.

One Reddit user shared that their sister, actually a friend, along with her family went on a vacation and she had tasked them to look after their dog. OP was happy to take on the duty and thought they would have a good time taking care of the dog all by themself. However, soon the sister’s grandmother showed up at the house saying she was there to help OP out. There was no issue with the presence of the sister’s grandmother there, who was essentially a stranger to OP, but the fact that they now had to share the same bed to sleep made OP extremely uncomfortable.

To deal with the discomfort, OP decided to go back to their place to sleep however the sister called and insisted they stay with the grandma because the dog wasn’t eating well in their absence.

3. It was preplanned that OP would take care of the dog alone however the friend’s grandma suddenly decided to show up to help out.

4. The grandma was considered as a contender before but ultimately the duties were assigned to OP…well, here she is.

5. This now meant OP had to share a room, even the bed, with the friend’s grandmother. She did it but wasn’t comfortable with it.

If a person has been assigned a task to look after someone’s dog, it means they aren’t a little baby. It has got to be someone with senses and I am guessing above the age of 15. It is kind of weird when you imagine a teen having to share a bed with their grandmother.

And it is kind of suspicious that the grandmother should up anyway despite the duties being handed over to OP. Perhaps the friend wanted an older person to supervise, perhaps the friend’s family didn’t quite trust OP enough. Who knows what the real reason is?

6. When OP decided to go back to her place to sleep, the friend called and wanted OP to go back and stay with grandma because the dog wasn’t behaving well in terms of eating.

The fact that OP got a call about the dog not eating properly shows that the grandmother was absolutely failing at her duties. She wasn’t taking good care of the dog. So why was she there? I guess this will remain a mystery.
