One of the best Disney films based on classic literature is Alice in Wonderland. Modern viewers have drawn attention to the problematic way in which drug use is represented, nevertheless. The caterpillar can be seen smoking off of a water pipe in addition to using potions to alter her state of being.

The usage of strange and badly executed musical pieces has also been brought up by viewers in addition to the depictions of drug use. Disney turned this movie into two live-action adaptations of Alice in Wonderland, but these weren’t new films; they were sequels.
