In the movie The Aristocats, a mother cat and her three kittens are taken from their home along with a wealthy elderly woman. They receive assistance from a street cat and his pals. Modern viewers have called attention to The Aristocats’ use of racist stereotypes, nevertheless.

At the start of the movie, a message from Disney+ tackles these harmful stereotypes and claims it can help start a debate about a “more inclusive future together.” Disney is correct to solve The Aristocats’ issues, but remaking the popular tale with accurate representations of various cultures would be an alternative.
