Giving up is not exclusive to humans.
Even animals do it sometimes when they have no chance to complete a particular feat. However, it is much more uncommon as animals are usually more hardworking than most humans. Although cats do not fall in this category. As rather than doing anything, they will lay about. And act like they are tired just from having fun all day. Honestly, they are in a total mood. And who hasn’t felt tired just after waking up?

However, humans are not like that and we can have off days where we just want to lie around and be lazy for no reason. And cats are like that as well. Although they are different in one regard, they don’t have any responsibilities and can do whatever they want without any repercussions.
