Japanese Artist Makes Amazing Water-colour Paintings Of Animals

We swore by the subjectivity of art after seeing these amazing paintings.

Art is the direct reflection of one’s thoughts. Through art, a person can convey even the unspeakable things that are buried deep inside his/her mind or heart. Artists choose different modes of expressions to convey their ideas to the public. Some write, some sing, some dance and some draw. All these mediums are just tools for an artist to present his/her work.

Painting is an amazing form of Art. To convey yourself through different colors on a piece of paper surely is an amazing skill. And, this Japanese Artist  Hiroki Takeda is uniquely wonderful in that. He makes watercolor illustrations of different animals but with a floral twist. He draws plants and flowers to make the body of the animal. The results are these whimsical paintings that we have collected for you in this thread.

Check out these wonderful illustrations.

People are loving his work that he presents online on his Instagram page and has around 27,000 followers.  The artist uses pink and red hues to draw leaves, grass and and various blossoming flowers in the body of the animal. He subtly draws all these while leaving some of the white part too. Hence, does not overdo the painting. Keeping in view the hard handling of watercolors, the artist must be applauded for his sheer mastery over this skill to draw such wonderful illustrations.

The artist very intelligently draws each thing to make it suitable and connected to that particular animal. Paws of the kitten are drawn with the soft leaves, flowers sprouting from the ears of little pup and trunks of many animals, and vines in the strong bodies of rhinoceros or lion. Not to forget the fabulous butterfly that adds to the beauty of the whole composition as we can see it there in every painting, sitting on the flowers or inside the head of the animal. The body of each animal looks like a garden in its full spring season. The idea of mixing the two, animals and plants, looks so fanciful and mesmerizing that it is impossible to not be impressed.

#8 This looks so gorgeous.
