Living with a bossy partner is not easy.
Everyone deserves respect in a relationship. Both partners are equal in a relationship but some partners try to dominate their significant others. A husband shared on Reddit how big of a control freak his wife is. OP’s wife has always been particular about how things should be done and she believes she does everything the correct way. Whatever OP would do or get, she would tell him that “you were so close to doing/getting this”. She would say this phrase a thousand times a day and OP was tired of hearing this. OP even told her that it sounds condescending and that she should stop but she told OP that she just compliments him.
OP’s wife was going through an intensive hiring process for a job. She was in the last stage of getting the job but she was not selected for the job. OP’s wife came crying to him and told him that she was not selected. OP unintentionally told her that you were *so close* to getting the job.
