When you begin a relationship, there’s always a part of you that worries about the most insignificant things:
Will I get along with their family? Is the dog going to like me? Do they both believe in eating breakfast foods for dinner? Whatever it is, chances are you have experienced having your honeymoon stage derailed by a worried mind. It’s never easy you have to think deeply about so many things before doing a commitment.

It’s common knowledge that your friends have a lot of sway over who you share your precious life with, and most people approach first-time meetings with extreme caution. After all, who wants to make a bad impression on people who know your partner better than their mother? So buckle up guys this Redditor has a story to tell. 11. She needed to clear herself that she ain’t a gold digger and it’s not such a big deal to tell those stupid people that she earns twice

12. This is too accurate and hilarious at the same time
Naturally, the bizarre accusations irritated her, so she asked the men why they would say such a thing when she earns twice as much as her boyfriend.
Everyone became very quiet, as expected, but the woman persisted and stated that there was no gold to be found – not from him or anyone else at the party. The boyfriend wanted to leave soon after, upset that his friends now knew he was making far less than the OP – but the woman said she’d have held her tongue if he’d stood up for her in the first place.

27. Such a cool advice
The man described it as humiliating and embarrassing, while the woman is irritated that she had to say anything at all, given that it was supposed to be his job to put them in their place. The boyfriend should have stood up for her in the first place and stopped those idiot friends of his to stop insulting her. Even though he was wrong at all times he still complained that she made her feel awkward. That’s a big red flag here.
