Karens are everywhere and they come at us unannounced. Neither is anyone ready for them nor is anyone ever happy to encounter them. They are simply a pain in the a*s and nothing more. A visible sign of Karen is that she’s awfully loud and unbearable. One can never expect something wise and pleasant coming out of a Karen’s mouth. When they speak, they utter only bullsh*t. They show up as a dominating person, but end up becoming the butt of the joke.
A self-employed journalist who volunteered for a driving service shared her story on Reddit about how she encountered a Karen on her day off. It was a regular day, as peaceful as it can be, when suddenly it got ruined by a self-assured Karen who started yelping at the journalist for not helping her with her shopping because apparently she’s “free”. Whether the shelves are too high or you can’t find your desired item in the aisle, they will help you with your problems.You can’t expect other customers at the store who are there with a shopping cart—shopping just like you—to help you shop. Instead, Karens completely ignore people in uniform.
