Love can conquer all.
I know we have heard this sentiment over and over again in every media out there and it does seem a tiny bit simple for what the real world is really like. However, while it may be simple, it does apply to the world at times, especially when it comes to animals. As we are all aware, there are a lot of animals out there who need help and are looking for a beautiful home to call their own. And while we would help each and every one of them, it is not possible.
That is exactly why it is so heartwarming to see stories like these where the animals do find a loving home and don’t have to wander the streets. They deserve this and much more so we are here to appreciate the people who helped these adorable cats in need and nursed them back to full health. Not only that but while the cats looked less than stellar when these people took them in, all of them have grown to be the royalty of their own homes.

#1 Everyone thought that it was cancer because of the disheveled appearance but she was actually perfectly healthy underneath it all.

Two years ago today I found little, dirty, wide-eyed Colt all alone in a parking lot at the height of the first pandemic shutdown, right before the newly implemented curfew kicked in for the night. He’s living happily (and healthily), now!
#5 This is Ivy and she was pregnant when she was found, now she lives a happy and healthy life in her own house.
First picture – a stray with a litter of kittens and pregnant with another. All the others – Spayed, fed, loved and absolutely adored. Her name is Ivy.
#6 Groovy really did fill out the patches that were in her fur and she looks much happier even in that Santa costume.
#7 It has only been a year and Basil already looks so much better with just a little bit of care and love.
#8 This floofy little baby is a rescue and she looks gorgeous now. I am honestly gobsmacked.
#9 Roo was in a shelter and quite the scaredy-cat but now she lives in her own domain.
#10 These two always remained the best of friends all the while putting on a bit of weight.

#11 No cat likes being in the rain so I am happy that she was found and well-cared for.
Just a quick before ‘n’ after from our cat, Mae. Rescued on a rainy night one year ago today. Can’t imagine our family without her. ??
#12 The start of the pandemic made people realize that we all need companions and what is better than having a pet?
I wanted to wish an almost second adoptaversary to Katara, the cutest & craziest Siamese out there. We rescued her from the streets a few months after the pandemic and she’s made our home and our hearts hers ever since??
#13 Honestly, they all grow up so fast. In only one year, they turn into a completely new cat.
#14 This adorable kitty was found on the streets and then adopted by this person’s mother-in-law.
#15 It also looks as if she is doing much better as well and I am happy for her.
Today is Belle’s (made up) birthday! We found her on the side of the road almost a year ago. No collar, no chip, covered in fleas, ticks, dirt, and VERY hungry. She’s doing much better now and is a wonderful addition to our home.
