Comics about animals are the best.
I mean I already love reading comics because most of them have beautiful and unique art while also telling a great story but animal comics are just adorable. And that is where Brutus and Pixie come in. I am sure they don’t need an introduction since most of us already know them. However, if you have been living under a rock and didn’t know that these comics took over the Internet when they were first released, then here is a bit of a refresher for you.
Brutus is a dog while Pixie is a kitten and these comics are all about their adventures together and how Brutus teaches Pixie to stand up for herself. Later on, the artist even added more animal friends for them to interact with, and saying that these are wholesome comics would be an understatement. The artist behind these awesome comics is Ben and he has been releasing his illustrations for quite a while and has gained a lot of popularity on Instagram.

#1 Sometimes accepting an apology is necessary especially if you messed up as well.
How did this even happen? When did Pixie get so violent? Was she angry at Brutus for swiping her with the tail or was this an accident? From the look on her face, I don’t think she knows either.
#2 They had the right idea, the execution was just wrong.
I can understand why Pixie thought this would work but it is a rock so it wasn’t going to break that easily. And doing it so close to the window was probably not a good idea. Atleast, now we know how it got stuck in the TV so that mystery is solved.
#3 That is why you never mess with Pixie.
This is exactly what happens if you try to mess with a person who has a lot of older siblings. They will come after you even if they might bully their sibling right after for being a coward.
#4 Honestly, what else did Brutus expect?
To be fair, that would be a unique find. And we don’t know where the dinosaur skeletons are hidden anyway. There could be a skeleton right under your house for all you know.
#5 It might have been stomped with just a bit too much force.
I mean Hugo tried his best but he just doesn’t know his own strength or weight. Now, Lola can’t play the game either without the gnome. I wonder where it went.
#6 It is a rare sighting of a bird called Gnome Mcfeatherface.
I think Cersei Lannister might want to have a word with Brutus. While I do agree that knowledge is power, there are some instances where that doesn’t help much.
#7 He tried his best and he was just hungry.
To be fair, I would have tried the same thing after a gnome came flying toward me and broke a lock for me. It might have even worked if it wasn’t for those meddling dogs.
#8 We all knew how this was going to end.
Everyone is special in their own ways and a draw just reaffirms that. However, not everyone is happy with a tie and there is nothing wrong with a bit of friendly competition after all.
#9 Brutus really wants to teach Pixie to be more aggressive but that just isn’t happening.
