Drama Ensued As Daughter Refused To Eat Mother’s Cooked Food After Enjoying Her Stepmom’s Cooking

Mom’s food is a blessing. Every child who has lost their mother has their mom’s food as the most desired thing they want. At times we don’t realize the true worth of our mother’s food until it is too late. That is exactly what happened in today’s story.

Reddit user u/TAcookingdaughter4 shared that after getting divorced from her husband, Mike, OP took all care of her daughter, Erin which included cooking all the food as well as Erin was 16. To keep it lively, OP would cook various cuisines so the meals don’t get boring.

However, when the two got the news that OP’s ex-husband had moved into their town with his wife, Kim, Erin began going to her dad’s house for stayovers more often. OP didn’t have a problem with this, she trusted Kim, but problems started arising when Erin began praising Kim’s food over her mom’s. So much so that Erin started showing dislike for OP’s food. She stopped eating at home entirely and would either go to Kim’s or her friend’s house to have food.

OP lost it and confronted Erin by saying if she doesn’t like her food anymore, she can cook her meals as well along with purchasing the ingredients for it.

8. However when OP cooked Asian for Erin, she would reject the dishes saying they weren’t good.

Perhaps Kim puts something suspicious in her food which has enchanted Erin into getting attracted to Kim’s food and starting to move away from OP’s. Anything is a possibility. With minimal information as to why this is happening, it is tough to comment. Maybe Kim is a great cook and outdoes OP.
