Employee Resigned Because Management Gave Him A Poor Raise And Bonus, Made Company’s Biggest Client Drop Them

A good raise motivates employees to perform well while a poor raise motivates employees to take the pro-revenge.

We all have had bad working experiences and these experiences have given us some of the life-changing lessons. Every employee who puts effort into his/her job expects a good pay raise. And how would you feel if you do not get the acknowledgment after doing all the hard work? What would you do if you get told that you have not done anything special for the company? What if you get mistreated by the company you work for? Obviously, you will feel angry and would want to take a pro-revenge. Today, we have a story of an employee who exceeded the company’s expectations and all of the clients including the company was happy about his work but in the yearly evaluation, they told him he has not done anything special for the company and gave him a poor raise and bonus. But, OP kept working flawlessly and the company did the same to him the next year. After, two years of mistreatment, OP thought to take his pro-revenge. Scroll down to read the complete story.

A good employee is an important asset to the company and companies should acknowledge their employees by giving them good pay raises and bonuses so that employees don’t think about resigning and joining a new company. If a good employee leaves and an incompetent one joins in his/her place, your business will suffer. So, it’s better to acknowledge the efforts of good employees.

6. OP resigned in late December and demanded a one-month notice.
