One of the most useful characteristics of the internet in today’s society is the ease with which individuals from all over the world can engage and communicate with one another over the Internet. A few simple clicks on your smartphone screen will put some of the world’s most creative minds at your fingertips. There is a detrimental side effect to strengthening one’s sense of closeness, however. It is only because you have been exposed to a greater number of people than you would have been if your exposure had been limited to your friends and family in your hometown. It makes you realize that the world is full of incredibly stupid people.
As you read posts of some of these insanely stupid people, try not to smack your head against the computer. You would anticipate people to become more intelligent as a result of all the information available on the internet, as a general rule. This list of the most obtuse people on the internet includes insane text messages, strange Facebook comments, and even real-life news items about people who are completely insane. It is a collection of the most ignorant people on the internet, compiled in one place. Upon reading some of the posts made by these people, you will be overwhelmed with apprehension about the future of our civilization. The use of facepalms is unquestionably appropriate, but refrain from banging your head against the keyboard!
If you are dissatisfied with the state of civilization as a whole, please do not read any further in this article. For the rest of us, here are some of the stupidest things that have ever happened on the internet, which will make us laugh and cringe at the same time:
1. Antivax people are surely a different breed!
Should we tell the mother or not? She is reading the test all wrong! It is debatable whether or not to judge children based on their IQ tests. IQ tests are used to measure a person’s level of intelligence. But to judge your children based on their IQ scores is something utterly bizarre! And to make matters worse this mother somehow used the “high” IQ level of her kid to say that it is because the kid is an anti-vaxxer!
2. The stupidity level of some people is off the charts!
3. Diet coke in the morning? Who does that?!
4. What an absolute genius! *Note the sarcasm*!
5. “FULL-BLOWN HIV”! What has that gotta do with basketball?!
6. Sane people search for “the best price on underpants”?!
7. Let’s just hope that she meant it as a joke!

9. Talk about a photoshoot!

These images of complete and total ignorance and craziness were extremely difficult to look at for extended periods of time. Both amusing and frustrating, regardless of whether these people are trolling or merely experiencing a brief period of ineptitude. It’s possible that our planet is on the verge of extinction.
