Couples who are deep in love want to spend all their time together. Back in the days, before the early 20s almost two decades ago when our everyday life wasn’t influenced so much by technology and cell phones, couples would wait all day long to see each other. When at a distance they would make a call or write letters. Send each other printed photographs in the mail and longed to be together. Now everything is just a click away. We know exactly where the other person is. If we miss someone, we just call them or text them. If we want to see someone we make a video call or send a Snapchat. Not to mention, Instagram is always flooding with everyone’s life updates. If something goes wrong, we get a tweet about it. Today, we have the whole globe in our pockets at all time.
In the old days, when life was difficult, love was stronger and pure. It was free and was independent. Today, when life is more digital and easy, love is dependent and conditional. Life is a gamble and we’re all gamblers. We are rushing after the worldly joys so much that we are missing out on the true essence of life which is each other’s company and love. We are using apps on our phones to keep track of each other like we’re puppets. We’re constantly updating people on our personal life for likes like it’s a reality show. Where technology serves us in good ways and brings us joy, it certainly does have the power to completely destroy us and ruin our life. Whoa! This is going crazy so far! This guy is struck with some serious bad luck. Firstly he was too dependent on the app that he didn’t take any precautionary measures for the time technology fails to support us. Than he wouldn’t have to get cough with the VR by his wife. Secondly he made a major major mistake by putting the whole situation online. He could have called a friend instead. The best thing would have been, waiting for the wife to call back and discussing everything with her one on one. Communication is the key to happy and healty relationsip.
