In-Laws aren’t always perfect.
We have heard numerous stories about nightmare inlaws and it is always disheartening to read these stories. Even if you have the best partner in the world in many ways, your inlaws can make the marriage or engagement a nightmare, and sometimes divorces are caused by the parents meddling in their children’s affairs rather than the actual partners. There is also a huge population of people who don’t stand up to their parents when their partner is being disrespected in one way or another.
Well, this is another similar story. In this particular scenario, this woman is clearly tired of her mother-in-law disrespecting her again and again whether it be about her body or her appearance. Honestly, it already sounds like a nightmare but the following instance was probably the last nail in the coffin. Now, the fiancee of this guy is actually known for her baking and this has caused a lot of drama in the family where the mother-in-law clearly doesn’t like her and her fiance does nothing about the berating she receives from his mother.

Her Fiance has never been on her side even in past instances.
So she stopped baking cakes altogether for the family since they didn’t like it.
However, it was her Fiances birthday so she decided to make a cake for him.
Now, the mother-in-law just told her to put the cake on the side for the children.
She clearly didn’t like this and just walked out with the cake.
Everyone told her that she was overreacting but she stood up for herself.
He enjoyed his time at the party and came back home late.
So this has left her with the nagging question whether she was in the wrong.
This story is a bit more complicated than it first seems. Now, I 100% condemn the mother-in-law for making rude comments about her appearance and body shape but I can’t say that she acted that maturely in this instance. The fact of the matter is that her fiance did not stand up for her. And I would say that this is a pattern and that this will continue to happen and the guy is not going to change. However, we do not know whether she actually told the mother-in-law that she was going to make the cake so that is something to keep in mind. After all, it wasn’t as if they weren’t going to have cake at a birthday party so I can’t say for sure who the wrong one is in this scenario. But the partner and the mother-in-law are not great in general.
People have a lot of differing opinions when it comes to this story.
Most people are telling her that she was in the right.
And that she needs to run away.
Because the guy will never change and will never stand up for her.
His mother clearly has a strong hold on him.
And she needs to realize that this will be her future if she marries him.
Her mother-in-law clearly has some problems with her for whatever reason.
While other people said that she was in the wrong.
And that the mother-in-law didn’t know about the cake.
But everyone agrees that the guy is disrespectful towards her.
There were also people who said that no one is without blame when it comes to this scenario.
But it wasn’t just about the cake at the end of the day.
We don’t know whether the mother-in-law knew about the cake.
If she did, then she is 100% in the wrong.
But if she didn’t then obviously a party was going to have a cake.
