neighbor's-driveway-

In this scenario, a neighbor is grappling with the question of whether they are at fault for refusing to shovel snow for their new neighbors. The story begins with the passing of an elderly neighbor, Mr. B, who was known for their kindness. OP recalls their past acts of neighborly goodwill, such as helping Mr. B with various tasks.

When new neighbors moved in after Mr. B’s house was sold, OP introduced themselves and offered friendly advice about acquiring yard tools for snow removal. However, the new neighbors came to expect ongoing assistance, and the conflict escalated when they confronted the poster during a snowstorm, expressing frustration at not being able to get to work. OP offered a shovel but refused to do the work for them, which led to tension and anger.

Now OP wants to know whether he’s an A-hole for not snow-blowing the new neighbor’s driveway. So keep on scrolling down below and make sure to read it till the end otherwise, you won’t be able to know whether OP is an A-hole or not.

1. OP said that his old neighbor was a sweet old man who was a widower, and before he died he started having mobility issues so OP would go and clear his driveway. And when he got severely sick OP and his family used to get him meals and groceries.

3. Mr. B’s children sold that house and new neighbors moved in so OP and his family went over to them introduced themselves and greeted them, and when they noticed they didn’t have any lawn mower or snow blower they advised them to get one because sooner or later they will need it.

6. OP told him that he was not going to dig their cars out so they could get to work then he said that he didn’t have any shower and said that he was relying on OP to come over and take care of it, which was a weird request.

16. If they want it to be done so badly they can hire someone to do it rather than asking OP
