An unexpected encounter with a cat shall always be funny.
Cats are funny! Can we all please agree on that? No matter how much you dislike a cat for its moody behavior, you will always smirk at the kind of things it does. Cat owners are pretty familiar with how their cats work, when are they in the mood to play, when they want to destroy the newly purchased furniture, and when they want to act like a true companion who cares for nothing and no one but you. So, the owners sort of has the crack. But, what does an encounter with a cat feel like for someone who is not its owner? Well, first of all, the person will be forced to capture that encounter, with a cat. There is an entire Facebook group dedicated to such unexpected encounters. People just love those encounters so much that they have to share them with the world. And turns out, every time you have an unexpected encounter with a cat, it ends up being very hilarious and one to remember.
The Facebook group goes by the name Catposting, The page is about to reach 188,000 members and it’s filled with people unexpectedly running into cats and sharing how it went.

1. By looking at those sharp claws, you don’t want to mess with this cat and by looking at those eyes and that gorgeous coat, you just want to keep staring and admire it. This cat was spotted by a person in his dad’s garden. Lucky!
2. Person had the most unexpected encounter with a Tuxedo cat at the Sahara Desert. He was later informed by the people sharing his tent that the cat shows up every now and then to scare the scorpions off and then gets on its way back. A savior in disguise!
3. Was walking casually towards his workplace when he suddenly spotted a cat like this in a building opposite the building he was going to go in. How even is that a comfortable spot? But it certainly does look cute in there.
4. This person was minding his own business, watching TV and stuff until they felt some leaves move, turned to check, and realized a cat was also minding its own business, watching them through the window.

9. Two friends went out to grab something and found this floof on the road. As soon as one of them moved forward to pet it, the cat opened up. She received quite a few belly and chin rubs. Everyone was happy that day.
10. The big one had been showing up for food for a couple of weeks, until this day she decided to bring her baby and the person who used to feed her couldn’t contain himself.
These moments are so fun and refreshing to enjoy. I really feel so soothed after hearing the stories and looking at the pictures. Thie spirits of cat lovers are so high and you can feel it through these posts. Cats deserve our absolute best. 11. A cat with multi-colored eyes was spotted at a restaurant in Amsterdam. This is a genetic condition known as heterochromia. You do have to take care of certain things but does give the cat an exotic look.
12. He must only let you grab a bookmark if you prove you show it the shopping receipt on your way back. And it will make sure you show that receipt.
13. Person found this irresistibly cute and majestic cat during COVID lockdown times. He just couldn’t resist and decided to give it a couple of head scratches. The man was happy, the beauty was happy.
14. Cutie knows exactly how to pose and show off its good sides. The only concern is, that this cat does not belong to the person taking the picture and they have no idea where it entered the house from.
15. Mitzi, most commonly referred to as Security Mitz by the people who pet him, is always found by the main gate of the university this person studies. Mitzi is always playing with the security guards and whenever someone passes the gate, Mitz gets a free pet. Here is him peacefully napping after a tough day of guarding the gate.
16. A new innovation in Sweden, they have managed to grow cats. It still needs a lot of watering and time, but the head is there to be pet, whoever is willing.
17. New neighbors came into town along with this beautiful cat. It has been paying visits to this person for 4 days straight. I feel a connection.
18. He gets super excited every time someone passes by to make their unexpected encounter a memorable one.
19. Went to the bathroom not knowing he had forgotten to close the garden door. Juno, the neighbor’s cat, decided to pay a visit.
20. This gorgeous floof was spotted resting on the steps of a random house, and the person took an amazing black & white picture of it. She looks so innocent.
