The matter of child support is an important issue.
We have all seen hundreds of cases where the parent refuses to pay child support after they divorce their partner. I understand having negative feelings for your partner if you guys didn’t end up on good terms but no one should involve the children in that mess. Even if you separate from your partner, you still have a child to worry about and just because you don’t live with them anymore doesn’t mean that you can let go of all the responsibility.
But that is exactly what so many people do. They think that just because they are divorced they shouldn’t be forced to pay child support. To put it simply, if you want a child, you should be ready to give them all the essentials whether that be monetary or emotional help. However, that is exactly what this guy is trying to squirm out of. Even the law is on the mother’s side but he has found d every excuse under the sun just so he doesn’t have to pay child support.

Everyone was unsurprisingly on her side.
That money is not extra as it belongs to her.
He is trying to wriggle his way out of the payments.
He clearly doesn’t have any extra money.
This comment sums up everything perfectly.
From the looks of it, he isn’t going to do that.
The daughter deserves the money.
He needs to take responsibility.
Not the way I would have put it but I agree.
The thing that surprises me is that the daughter is still a minor as well!
What did he think would happen? Did he really think that she is in the wrong for not giving back the money? To be fair, I do feel bad for the other woman but that has nothing to do with her and her child. The money legally belongs to her so it is no surprise that even the law is not behind the Father. And it is clear that he is just trying to guilt-trip her into giving back the money or he has some other nefarious motive. he might just be trying to give her the money legally so the law gets off his back and so she gives back the money to him. Whatever his reasoning there is no way that she should give the money back.
That is a weird way to do it.
This is what happens to people who don’t take responsibility for their actions.
If you have a child, you are supposed to take care of them.
Perhaps he prefers the other kid over her daughter?
This is a sad thought but it happens a lot.
He should have done this from the beginning.
If he had, he wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place.
It really is as simple as that.
He can bring this to court if he wants to.
