Did you have a wealthy upbringing? Do you know someone who did?
I think almost everyone went to school with someone whose parents looked to have more money than god… and we all assumed that kid would grow up to be wealthy as well. They would have all the luxuries in the world and be a goddamn wealthy person. But, guess what? That isn’t always the case, though! The money is frequently lost by the parents. This isn’t unusual and we all know it very well. (Do you recall the Coopers from ‘The OC’?)
Other times, parents do not always financially support their children after childhood, and the children grow up to be mediocre, and their parents allow it.
“People who grew up privileged but ended up impoverished, what is your story?” someone asked on Reddit. The responses were intriguing, sad, bizarre, and even downright juicy! Take a look at them below!
