Woman Wants Man To Venmo Her $2.47 After She Gives Him A Ride

This planet needs immediate saving.

Times are tough all over the world. The gas prices are at an all-time high, the inflation rate has just decided never to come down for some reason, the planet is entering a global recession, and the food isn’t cheap anymore either. People need to care for each other to get through these challenging conditions. Say, for instance, if a friend offers you a free ride and the location where you have to be dropped off comes nowhere within their own route, please do not let it be. When you go to the petrol station and ask for a full tank, your heart sort of starts crying because of the big bill you have to pay. So please don’t let it be a free ride even if they are your best friend, just pay them something as gas money because, in these conditions, it is a requirement.

Well, then a major question comes up regarding what amount you should pay to your friend. Like, how do you gauge the trip to figure out the total amount that would offset the cost of gas? Whatever it is, according to the comment section of this viral TikTok, it certainly isn’t $2.47.

TikTok user Peter received a text message from his friend Julia that absolutely disappointed him as you can see by the look on his face.

What happened was that Julia drove Peter and his roommate home one day, so kind and nice of her. But the impressions changed very quickly as Peter soon received a text message from Julia requesting his Venmo ID to charge him gas money, and she wanted his roommate’s information as well to charge him for the ride as well.

Peter got a request from Julia to share his Venmo with her so she could charge him $2.47 for the ride she gave him and his roommate home. And yes, she wanted to do the same with his roomie.

In the video, Peter shows the text message from Julia and does a voiceover in which he says he would rather want a Yellowstone supervolcano to wipe us all off this planet instead of paying Julia $2.47. In layman’s terms, he would rather side with a natural catastrophe.

I am so confused as to how did this woman come up with a total of $2.47. Don’t tell me she opened up her calculator and used the mileage and everything to come up with this figure…

And her reason for charging them this amount, separately, was simply Joe Biden.

The comments section was really confusing after they saw this video. Thanks to the rising confusion, TikTok did go viral with almost 396,000 likes and over 4,000 comments. The confusion revolved around the $2.47 Julia came up with to charge Peter and his roommate. Some said it was too much, some sided with it being low, while the remaining just wanted to know how did she come up with this exact amount.

Here are the views of some of the people who commented on the story:

And I can bet she would agree to that as well.

So technically she wanted $4.94 as gas money but in two halves and from two different people.

I swear the number of texts I have given up on because they sound too embarrassing is too high.

That blame on Biden came out of nowhere.

“Gave up after 20 minutes of trying to weigh him on the take-home scale. I came back to find him lounging like this.”
