Employee Gets A 2 Week Sick Leave Instead Of 2 Days When Manager Forces Him To Get A Doctor’s Note

Some managers become enamored with the power that their positions provide.

It is nothing new, and it will continue. And, while some believe that power corrupts people, I believe that it simply reveals a person’s true nature. And it appears that managerial positions always seem to attract the worst kind of people. Of course, this is not always the case, but there wouldn’t be thousands of stories about a**hole bosses if this were not what was going on in the world. They just have this constant need to lord it over others and demonstrate to their employees that they are powerless. The number of times they threaten to fire you is a sure sign of recognizing a manager drunk on power.

That is exactly the type of manager we have today. Because they were truly ill, an employee called her and requested sick leave. Instead of giving them what they needed, she demanded a doctor’s note. Now I understand where she is coming from because many people lie and say they are sick when they are perfectly fine, but we can all see her hypocrisy when her friends do the same thing all the time and she is perfectly fine with it. It just goes to show that these people do not respect other humans if they are in a ‘lower position’ than them in terms of power.

This employee, on the other hand, was not about to give up. Scroll down to read the full story and see how this manager finally got what she deserved.

And as you can tell the manager wasn’t having any of it.

Even though it is illegal to ask for a doctor’s note, the manager didn’t think this far.

So the employee went to the doctor and asked for a doctor’s note.

When the doctor was filled in about everything, he had an ingenious idea.

So instead of the initial two days, the employee got a two-week vacation.

When they went to work to hand over the note, Steve was surprised.

Another higher-up saw this whole exchange and quickly sent the employee home.

Steve tried to wiggle out of this but he couldn’t.

And while Steve was going to disciplinary hearings, the employee was resting at home.

As the commenter pointed out, it is nice to know that not all managers are the same.

You would think that this is normal but apparently, Steve didn’t get the memo.
